1st Washington Volunteer Infantry (1898-1899) - Organized at Spokane, Seattle, North Yakima, Ellensburg, and Waitsburg, Wash., and mustered into the service of the United States at Tacoma May 6 to 13, 1898, with 46 officers and 967 enlisted men.

Enlisted men-killed in action, 17; wounded, 89; died of wounds, 8; died of disease, 17; drowned, 1; deserted, 24.
