North West Company
North West Company (1779-1821) - A British trading company established in 1779. The company merged with the Hudson's Bay Company in July 1821 and the combined company took the name of the Hudson's Bay Company. The combined company included 97 trading posts from the North West Company and 76 from the Hudson's Bay Company.
