Grant USV, (Cullum 1187), and Confederate forces under Brigadier General John B. Floyd CSA. Known by both Union and Confederate forces as Battle of Fort Donelson. The battle was fought at Fort Donelson in Stewart County, Tennessee and resulted in a Union victory.
