The 1763 Treaty of Paris was an agreement between Great Britain, France, Spain and Portugal signed 10 Feb 1763. This treaty ended the French and Indian War in America and the Seven Years' War in Europe.

The territorial changes in the Americas

  • France gave up Canada and all of its claims to the territory east of the Mississippi River to Britain.
  • Spain ceded Florida to the British, and later received New Orleans and French Louisiana from the French
  • Spain agreed to evacuate Colonia del Sacramento in America.
