Kahe Point Military Reservation History
A World War II military reservation established on some 955 acres first as a defensive strong point and later as the site of Battery Arizona. The land was acquired and then occupied by the Army as of 26 Oct 1942. The construction of Battery Arizona begun in 1942 and was halted on 1 Aug 1945 before the battery was completed.
