1st Tennessee Volunteer Infantry (1898-1899) - Organized at Nashville, Columbia, Lawrenceburg, McMinnville Shelbyville, Clarksville, and Springfield, Tenn., and mustered into the service of the United States at Nashville May 19 to 26, 1898, with 47 officers and 975 enlisted men.
