Cape May Military Reservation (1940-1948) A World War II subpost of Fort Miles, Delaware. See Fort Miles.
Cape May Military Reservation History
Part of Harbor Defenses of the Delaware. Positioned at the mouth of the Delaware River, Cape May MR supported Fort Miles by provided rapid fire protection from fast moving subs and torpedo boats. It also provided searchlight and anti-aircraft installations.

Battery 223 and Battery AMTB 7 were located on Cape May Military Reservation.
