Martha Litton nee Duncan

Martha Litton was born Martha Duncan on 27 Sep 1756 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania Colony,(2, 3, 20) died on 31 Mar 1821 in Elk Garden, Russell, Virginia, USA (3, 20, 21) at age 64,and was buried in Apr 1821 in Soloman Litton Hollow Cemetery, Russell,Virginia, USA.(7, 20) Notes: James Fullen Litton Bible says she was born Fincastle Virginia and married Soloman at Old Lick (Roanoke) Virginia

With her husband Soloman Litton she and her children were captured by Indians under the command of British General Harry Bird at John Martin's Station. They were marched to and held captive at Fort Detroit in Quebec, Canada, 26 Jun 1780-18 Jul 1883, Fort Detroit, Quebec, Canada Province.(9)
