Sackville, Fort; Barracks and Lookout Station; Bedford, Nova Scotia: Sackville Barracks, the old quarters of the former Fort; showing western front with veranda, of wood, 1½ storey high, three doors; about 1878. Looking Northeast from what had once been the parade ground of the fort. Fort Sackville first established 17(?). The barracks probably dates from about 1798.
